Samsung Blackjack I600

I live in Vietnam and I am traveling from one month to the United States (California). I have a Blackjack, Samsung i600 Vietnam. Can I buy a prepaid SIM card, so I can use the U.S. without a contract? Which carrier has the best deal? What should I expect to pay? Any opinion on the speed of data access and high would be welcome. Thank you

Arrangements mobile phone in the U.S. are terrible. Nothing approaching the usefulness and value to obtain a SIM card in VN. There are telephone companies that use SIM cards, but you can not go and buy a card as you can in VN. When you hit the United States before leaving the airport check if you can find a rental store cell phone and see if they will sell you a SIM card - it will most likely not. The best, many non-contract, I am aware of the United States is tracphone - and it's quite expensive.

If you have a month to month Vinaphone / Mobiphone account, you should see if they have roaming options with carriers of the United States. Perhaps the best way to go (in combination with tracphone $ 30).
