The first thing people think when they think of Disney World in Orlando! This is the top holiday destinations in the world and entertained 82 million visitors in 2008. But Orlando is more than the destination Mouse House and even if the four theme parks and two water parks are a great family trip, there are still tons of fun adventures to discover. Orlando may be divided into roughly four areas, think of it as a big plus with the I-4 corridor, the vertical line of separation, and the 408 free, and the horizontal line. Disney World would be on the lower left side, if you look at the map. But Disney is not alone! Here, I de-Drive, or International Drive, a vacation destination like no other. Packed with restaurant after restaurant and dozens of fun spots, such as golf's Pirate Adventure miniature Fun Spot, a small theme park custom designed for thrill seekers, a family can make a visit to an I-Drive part of two or three days of their holiday. Fun Spot has the sling sky, race car, arcade games and much more. Visitors can also find Wonderworks, a nice house museum, Ripley's Believe It or Not, and many more in this area. Northern Disney Lake Apopka, and in the Wekiva Basin Spring. A paradise for outdoor adventure and wildlife lovers, visitors can swim in clear Crystal Springs, paddle along quiet roads, and may have seen an alligator in the wild. There are miles and miles of trails for hiking, not to mention an occasional observation bears! There is also Universal Studios Two theme parks jam packed with adventure rides, great entertainment, and Universal CityWalk, home of Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, the Cafed de la NBA, free concerts and all the dance clubs night. East Disney Kissimmee, Florida, a vacation destination in itself. Old city hosts dozens of shops, outdoor concerts, classic car ramp and more. Dine in a number of cafes and stroll along the Avenue of people watching and discovering the hidden wonders of the old city. For water lovers there is Sea World, and the new Aquatica water park, where visitors can swim next to and around creatures of the deep. Continue east and you will find the Space Coast. Even if the shuttle program is slowly disappearing, Cape Canaveral and NASA has and museums. The Space Coast is also home to Cocoa Beach, closest beach to Orlando, tons of nightclubs on the beach. Port Canaveral, home to several cruise ships like the game and SEA ESCAPE SUNCRUZ where visitors can take one to five hours travel in international waters to enjoy Las Vegas style games, entertainment and dancing. The north-east of the city has all the clubs downtown, but also some community room that leads straight to serene beachfront just few kilometers from the city of New Smyrna Beach. Here locals gather in the sun on the beaches are quiet and enjoy surfing and fishing in the Atlantic waves, then enjoy dinner at the Fish Camp or another local restaurant. Orlando is home to hundreds of golf courses, including the famous Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Golf Club or the Grand Cypress Resort.
