Poker Tournament Clock

Poker Tournament ClockSetting up a regular poker tournament?

I will be setting up a regular, weekly limit whatsoever em poker tournament at a local bar. I wonder, what do you need to do this?

As regards materials, I could think of:
Tournament Clock
Cards
-Estimated
distributor button
-Chips

Outside the materials, I also found a list of official rules.

Is there something else that is important?

By "rules" do you also say you have your structure together, too?

In other words, do you know the size of your blind will be at each level? How many chips each player starts with? How much does each color chip is its value? How long is each level? How much does it cost to participate? Will there or there will be no re-buys and, if so, at what level to stop re-buys? What is the price structure based on 10 people? Based on 20 people? 30, 40, more? What is the limit who can enter?

Other questions:

Is this the "home" (or are you) taking a cut of money, and if so, how will you keep the cops happy or not aware? something (That could be illegal.)

When people are eliminated from the tournament, will they be able to play "cash" games to a separate table?

Who will manage the game? T it go from one player to the? (In any case a cutter "map" to be placed at the bottom of the bridge.)

These are just some questions I'm left with. Maybe you've already thought about this. If yes, fine. ;)

Looks like you have everything you need!

If you feel you could take in bulk over a regular table, you'll need a way to pull tight and fasten to the table.

If you have not already, you should check the plastic cards. There are many large companies and a wide range of prices. Over time, they are much less expensive than paper maps. I Desjnes, Copag, KEM Del *****, and Gemaco.

I would say the most important thing is to make clear rules and apply them consistently. You say you have a set of rules, so that's good. I hope they are either taken directly from Robert's Rules or TDA (Tournament Directors Association) Rules. If not just use one of these well-established sets of rules. Any serious player already know and it will keep confusion to a min.

No, as long as all know the rules.

You will need 4-5x the amount of chips you think you do well. guys getting drunk, pissed phone call, whatever ... they will leave the table, take a pile of chips and sit in a corner a bit. Make sure you have a shitload of chips to start your biz.
