My friend and I are building a poker table and we have a car lighter and bulit in speaker. What is the best way to power this thing if we can use the lighter and listen to the speakers while we play cards?

lol NICE. If you have 12V going to the amplifier system / head unit powering the speakers I use, if I buy a 12V ~ 1000mA adapter any RadioShack store or an electronics specialist. This would give your cigarette lighter power.
