Multiplayer Video Poker

Please help me ... EVERY game I try to play multiplayer games like poker Zynga, Habbo, Poker Stars, Second Life ... He always says connection problem, but the YouTube videos load normally if my net is not long. I thought, if my sister could somehow turn off these (were in a battle if she hates me) on our Internet plan. PLEASE HELP. other info. my net is 12gigs a month im connected to a modem with an Ethernet cable. I can play my xbox360 online
