Here are the three best players of the season Packer. Clay Matthews, No. 52-OLB Matthews was picked up by the Green Bay Packers in the draft this year first round pick. He was 26th in the draft in total. This rookie is a native of Los Angeles, California, and went to USC. He had 2 interceptions, 3.5 sacks, 6 passes defended and a forced fumble this year. He was ranked third in the voting for rookie of the Associated Press defensive year. Hawk is a native of Kettering, Ohio, and the Packers are a proud team to have his career beginning with their team. Nick Barnett, Number 56, ILB- Although Barnett was out of much of the season last year, it is surely go to the Packers this year. He played his heart to help Hawk and Matthews lead the first team defense in the league. A native of Barstow, Calif., Barnett played the strong side linebacker for Oregon State. As a senior, he led the conference with 121 tackles (62 solo) and was part of the first selected All-Pacific Conference 10. He won the 2003 defensive rookie of the year in his debut season FNL. As an important part of this team, Barnett has made some outstanding plays for the Packers this year. Johnny Jolly, No. 97, DE- Jolly has also been drafted in 2006 that the Packers for a sixth round selection, pick number 183 overall.
