Grinder Poker

Grinder PokerWhen you play poker with a total novice, what's the quickest way to win all their chips?

I played for about 6 months and will join a poker club Penny where I suspect most people will fish! Should I use an aggressive game and play tight? I think playing tight is preferable, because they call too often and take any cliffs. The problem is that I can become a grinder and it will take ages to win. Other suggestions?

I suggest you wait and see whos sitting at your table. Do not assume that because they look for fish, they are fish. Play tight and see how others play, so you can begin to define your style depending on how your position, which is already in the pot, which has raised, who called, which is being stolen pots , which is tight, etc. .. One of the best sites for poker strategy is pokerstrategy.com and you could really have a look in there. Good luck!

Depends on how they play. Off the bat, I guess they will be aggressive and bluff-head. Listen carefully and do not be afraid to call if you think their bluff. When you have a good chip lead going aggressive and not give them a chance at home. If you keep them on their toes they will not know how to react and make more mistakes. Have fun with this free money.

If you feel you're a better poker player, then you most want them sitting at the table, and if you feel they are better poker players get with the best hand and get out quickly. The best thing for any poker player do is keep these chips spitting seated at your table.

if they are a total novice, they are probably playing cards, I do not think there is a quick way unless you raise when you have the best hand ..

If they are loose / aggressive, wait until you have a good hand or the nuts and slower, they are likely to raise you on anything for 1 pair or a bluff so just call the river and re -big raise, most will call donk anyway especially if they do not know how to fold a pair of aces

if they are tight and aggressive (probably not a novice) stealing pots with raises on how they react, you will have lots of pots and they re-raise you, they probably have something ... it suffices to decide whether your hand is probably better ... although the evaluation of a lot may leave you open to a bluff or 2 since you will be considered a loose player

loose / passive donk is the worst in my opinion, they usually call anything and play almost every hand, making them difficult to bluff cons and also if you have a big hand, they may get lucky on the river .. I want to play those tight / aggressive and we hope they donk River

tight / passive are easy to steal pots but if they call you, they probably have something good and you follow with small raises, raise these large and if they call play prudently

This is a basic, but just one example of how to play a novice playing style, simply respond to what they are doing and remember that they are probably travel the cards ... ACE is generally all right for them

There is some good info on the forum twoplustwo
