Women and Poker Part II: the exploitation of the female form Some of the main centers of poker are also cities more sexualized in the U.S., the name of New Orleans and later in Las Vegas. These cities are absolutely oozing sex, and although this document does not seek to make a moralistic argument alleging a lifestyle of these wild cities, most of these images have stuck to the poker game itself. When opening a home page is an illustration of a scantily clad brunette vixen with a flower in her hair (not real women were injured during the production of this model). The interesting part of this design is that it is placed inside a huge Ace of Clubs. In the middle of the map, where the woman is, is a great club, and shaft of the club said just to stop in the center of crotch of women. Although there is a possibility that this suggestion is not so subtle that it was not intentional, we would not bet on it.
-Next on our list is the deliciously tasteful advertisement on hollywoodpoker.com for their "Babes & Bounty" tournament. For starters, the title itself should be enough to titillate the most women poker players. Then, the image used on the page is a woman in a bikini top with money in the background behind her. And finally, for players who are not sold by the picture in the middle, the site claims that "12 sexiest hostesses in the poker game" will be at the table. It's a good thing too, because most poker players refuse to play in major tournaments with no less than 8 sexy poker hostesses. Finally, jus tto make sure you can see all the features on the side, there is a picture of woman on the left side of the screen dressed in his underwear before bed rather not support a laptop computer with poker chips lying around her body. She is happily wearing a pair of flattering white high heeled shoes for that it can model at any time during his poker game. A site really class.
-PokerWorld.com, bedroom and future of online maps, is the site of another tastefully designed, with nothing to offend save for their new "Topless Bonus". The "Topless Bonus: The Shape of Things to Come" seems a stretch: with this promotion, they will "top up" your account with a bonus of 20%. The bonus is not stingy falling below 200% of travel on different sites, it also hurts the eye. They advertise a small silhouette of a woman, hardly exposing anything. Why they chose to attempt to correlate 20% with topless women is a mystery, but they certainly went for it.
-Not to be outdone, Jungle Poker has its own spokesmen women: none other than the beautiful Cheynel Fraser, a bartender / model who is now the official face of Jungle Poker. Why a poker site would need a hot model as a spokesperson is a great mystery. We believe this is because the picture Cheynel - which includes several excellent cleavage shots - surely everything to do with poker and nothing with selling sexuality.
