Where can I find a baby shower game style game? I am looking for a model that people would be able to choose the date and time they think the baby will be born Has anyone any ideas or suggestions were that I I could find this?
I do not think you need anything elaborate. Just that everyone write a date and precise time on a piece of paper. Make sure everyone is at the same time if one has an advantage over someone else.
People must feel they have a chance, too. Make sure everyone knows the unofficial title of "maturity".
Give everyone guesses on 1 sheet of paper in chronological order. Decide in advance if you will the winner be the one nearest anything, or if you are going to say once their time passes, they are out of competition.
In other words, say the baby was born November 10th at 5:22 in the first scenario, if someone said the 10th November at 5:20, they will beat someone else said November 10 at 5:45
In my second scenario, once the time passes, you're out! So even if the proposal was just 5:20 off of 2 minutes, 5: 45 would get the money!
Make sure people know that you do in advance, before making their proposal! Perhaps a vote for which people want to do.
Of course, the winner gets only 50% of the money, and the mother and baby the other 50%.
