By car:
On a surface-street
Take Pine North, turn right on Ocean Blvd.
Continue on the ocean and turn left on Cherry Ave.
Northbound on Cherry, about 4 miles (to the Long Beach Airport). Then turn right on Carson Street
Head East on Carson for about 4 ½ miles. The Hawaiian Gardens Casino will be on your left just after passing Highway 605 and Pioneer Blvd.
By car:
On motorways
Take 22 East, connect to 405 South and merge onto North 605, take the Lincoln / exit Carson, Bear right, and join the Carson Street (there is an exit sign to the casino). You'll need to turn from the highway you have on the south side of Carson (eastbound on Carson) and Casino is located on the north side of Carson Street, you'll need to head West.
By bus
Take the number 21, 22 or 23 Long Beach Transit bus eastbound / northbound to Ximenes.
At Ximenes, aboard the 111 or 112 Long Beach Transit bus heading north / west to Spring Street.
At Spring Street, on board the Long Beach Transit bus 102. Take this bus at the end of this road in Norwalk Blvd. Norwalk is a block and half from the casino. You passed the casino and back foot. But ... I think the buses are actually a U-turn at the mall (ask the driver as you board) near the casino, if you just want to stay on board as it spins around.
Cost. Obviously the bus is the cheapest (at 90 per trip / day pass $ 2.50). But with all the stops, it will probably A1 ½ hour trip. By car is about 20 minutes by motorway and 30 minutes by road surface. You can always take a taxi. But this little 8-9 mile trip will be very expensive at about $ 25 by taxi.
