Blackjack Table Felt

I try to do my own blackjack table ... I'm using a 6 x 3 'wood table (oval) and a piece of felt the same size. What is the best way to ensure the cloth on the table on the edges?

I used contact cement SPRAY ... spray generously on wood and lightly on the felt ... then carefully apply ... with a few friends to keep the fabric as you align the table. Can I use a roll of veneer to ensure a perfect fit and press any air bubbles. I then add weight during 24 hours.

I've never had to add anything to make it work ... if for a blackjack table, you must add an arm rest that secure and protect the edges.

I cut the felt so as not to follow through on the edge of the table. Staple all around, then glue on a braid or Cording to cover the staples.

You may also take the felt tight and staple it to the underside of the table ..
