Blackjack Roof Coating

House is 100 years old, no original roof, but an old box in decent shape. I pulled nails [replaced w /] washeredscrews, flashed chimneys, holes patched and covered with Black Jack bundles of aluminum roof coating over 15 years ago, it's time again! As he did a good job the last time I looked the same, but can not find the same product / 5167 BlackJack. Our local Lowe's was "Silver Dollar" bundles of aluminum roof coating, but how do I know if it's good enuf? [$] 42/5gal. I used silvery substance with fiber added. To find out the leak and turn on your garden hose on full with a water spray type trigger. Ask someone to go in the attic while you're spraying the roof. Check if your person in the attic can locate the leak. You can get by with the coating on the head to one or more nails. 15 years seems a good coating.

There is still no substitute for good old tar.You fashond can get bundles and downs. Sometimes the holes are not running during a rain so you'll have to watch when he does.
