Blackjack Atx

My friend is looking to buy a Schecter C-1 Blackjack ATX (not C-7 or FR), while we are in the United Kingdom, it is looking at shipping that of America. That's fine by him, the more it is pretty cheap that way, however, he never played guitar with pick ups active before and is a little concerned about a too thrash metal sound, which he does, but he does not want his own following his compromise. Otherwise, he is looking at Schecter Blackjack C-1, just normal. Anyway basically what would be cool if someone knew of a store in the UK with them in stock so that he can still give it a go, I looked online but can not find anywhere and I guess maybe not really be much more here because it is new? He watched the online demo that would have done, but it would be good to try his style on that. All help appreciated, even just a comment on his own on guitar?

About active microphones, they require a 9 volt battery (thats why they are called active) and produce a very clean to a higher voltage than passive pickups that usually only put in millivolts versus the 9 volt output active pickups. They were originally designed for very clean sound, rock guitarists, but ultimately concluded that the increase of production is useful for conducting further probe into anemic amp distortion when configured to do so.
EMG is the largest manufacturer of active pickups for guitar and bass.
I personally think microphones are active too sterile sounding. They lack a certain warmth and tend to all look alike. Personally, I prefer humbuckers Seymour Duncan JB (JB = Jeff Beck) who sound great clean tone very creamy when used in the distortion parameters. active pickups are great for jazz or pop own.
