Black Jack Roof Coating

My friend and I covered (brushed) his blanket roll (1 layer) with Jack Black fibered roof coating (black). Its roof is flat with a slope of 15 degrees from top to bottom. More importantly, is it ruined, or can deploy the blisters with a rubber roller or something? I wonder how long it takes to cure the coating and, as it seems a bit soft for walking.
