I understand your point, but they are not the same. Although steroids are currently giving baseball a big black eye, a man who cheated to break a record, or others seeking to improve performance there is not the same as the fixing of games. I do think Vegas takes account of alleged steroid users when setting their lines as another factor, as with pitch, field house, etc. But remember the Red Sox 1919 Black? 8 players conspired to throw the World Series, and yes, the players do not get rich, but that caused more distrust among fans of the game itself, rather than to cheat a person.
