Arrest Gambling Internet

Arrest Gambling InternetSo how can Doyle Brunson run an online casino without the FBI on the back?

1.) Doyle Brunson is the greatest, the most prestigious names in poker.

2.) Games on the Internet with a U.S. customer is illegal, so much so that owners / operators of online casinos have been arrested at the airport right next to the country.

3.) However, Brunson, living in the United States and promoting a site that takes account of the U.S. (his name is on it, as if we can not make this more obvious) did not see inside a prison cell. What to do?

Online poker is not illegal in the United States, while operating such a site would be illegal.

The site in question is not owned by Doyle Brunson and is operated in a foreign country. It is just the opposite site. In the same way as the woman with the unibrow on advertisements Garmin is not the owner of Garmin.

I think the way it is legal is that Brunson received a check to allow his face and name to be used on the site. This is certainly not illegal for a person to advertise for a website, even if it is a game of chance.

But really, who cares? America has taken a position completely retarded online game and the sooner it is reformed the better. I'm happy as a poker icon Brunson is ready to put his name out there and support the online poker sites.

We live in a supposedly free country. Yet fanatical right-wing extremists like Bill Frist want to control how we spend our money. Well guess what, it's our money and there should be no interference from the government if we want to play poker on the Internet. The joke is the Republican party are so corrupt that the proposed anti-game they snuck into an unrelated bill with last year in fact opened the door completely to the horse paris online. So now, Americans are free to play thousands of dollars in paris horses, but other types of game have unreasonable restrictions.

In a country where every two or three, but the states have some form of legalized gambling, it is ridiculous to try to ban online gambling. The law is totally unenforceable, and there is no rational reason or logic, even to try.

If the government wants to play the welfare state, they should give us all health care world-class free, or the prohibition of smoking or fast food. But nobody wants a welfare state, so that the government should do what people want, and crush our company.

In addition, Doyle has nothing to do with DoylesRoom .... it comes from the front of the site. He received his approval check each month and that's all. It has nothing to do with daily operations.

On a side note, DoylesRoom was imho the best site out there before it banned U.S. players. Now, it really sucks. It has changed for the worse.

The game of poker or playing poker has not been outlawed. What the U.S. government has been to put a law on the books making it very difficult to deposit funds or withdraw funds from poker sites. Without going into details (mainly because I do not know what they are), the government made it illegal for banks in the United States to participate in the transfer of funds to these sites and alternatives that have it is difficult for small poker sites to make a go of it. However, sites like Full Tilt Poker, PokerStars and a few others decided to continue to do business, and they do it legally.
