Arizona Gambling Is playing card gambling legal in Arizona? I am from Washington State where slots are legal on reservations. But the deck is legal off the thing. There are card houses everywhere. I'm looking for tournaments Texas Hold Em with buy ins at low prices. The house of cards are usually much cheaper than the reservation casino buy ins! You know in AZ?? I do not know of any in AZ, however, if you're interested in starting a game, you can yourself. Gaming law allows a group of individuals who have contacts outside the game to have a live (cash) game, we used to have breakfast together twice a week to keep our legal game (this game included a member of the ATF and local police officer). To verify tournaments with the office of the state, but it was legal to hold a tournament (ONLY) that each person has joined a club. What we did was to create a poker club and each member was required to register to play (it was free, but we have kept records) and we had a short discussion before each tournament on a heavy hand of the tournament before. We started with 15 people to play once a month and tournaments have increased nearly 200 playing once a week or more. In 2003, we sent a player from the WSOP Main Event as a tournament prize. We never had any legal problems and a different incarnation of the club is now running in Grand Junction, Colorado (as well as meeting with some of us old players online tournaments). Of course, if a law enforcement officer has your number is simply the best not to push (even if you are legally entitled) that sanctions can be very heavy. Posted on December 31, 2009.
