Advanced Blackjack Strategy

Advanced Blackjack StrategySlot Tournament question (Vegas)?

I participate in a tournament slot (Free VIP) Invitational in Las Vegas this weekend. I've never really played slots before, as I normally play blackjack or craps. What are the chances of actually placing in this tournament ($ 35,000 prize pool). I do not know how many people are involved, I'm not sure what the average is. The strategy is simply to continue to press the spin button? Thank you in advance for any bird that you slot there.

There is no strategy in tournaments slot, you simply press the button.

The only strategy you could possibly use is to try to make as much money by spinning the wheels as much as possible, or by turning the wheel a few times while everyone is losing money.

The ideal would be to turn the wheel a few times, if the machines are equipped with the advantage of home as they do on the casino floor but I highly suspect that the machines used in tournaments slot schedules are assigned special pay payable for frequent players hooked on the feeling of winning, and make it more fun.

If they do indeed actually pay differently than regular slots, good strategy would be to hit that button and spin as fast as you can get more money.

Thats what I know, Im not in the slot, its how I earn money when I gamble, but a free slot tournament with prize money is a real gamble.

Investment in the tournament depends on how many players enter. In terms of strategy, if it is a timed event (as most are), you want to play as quickly as possible. The amount of money you have at the end of the tournament on the slot machine is not what they use to determine winners. Winners are determined by points. Each "hand" is given a specific point value. For example, a flush may be worth 25 points, a straight flush is worth 40 points, etc. The machine can add items at the end of your time. Those with the highest number of points are the winners. Therefore, you want to get as many hands as possible in order to accumulate points.
